We run these clubs to offer children activities and fun in a relaxed, informal atmosphere before and after the school day. We will offer your child a safe, stimulating place in which to play or take part in activities and crafts. Our aim is to help children develop their full potential through positive, social, emotional, physical and intellectual experiences: by providing a stable, secure and relaxed environment where parents and carers feel satisfied to leave their children.
Before School Club
Before School Club is run by qualified teaching assistants held in the South Hall every day from 8am – 8.50am; at the end of the session children are escorted to their classrooms. Activities include soft play, ball pool, drawing, reading, mini football and games. We finish with a story or singing each day. There’s no need to book your child into before school club simply bring them along via the main entrance. The charge for this service is currently £2 for arrivals before 8.30am and £1 for arrivals after 8.30am; payment is to be made in advance at www.schoolcomms.com in the same way as other school services or by childcare vouchers in arrangement with the School Business Manager.
After School Club
After School Club runs every night from the end of school until 5.30pm. Attendance for any period up to 4.30pm is charged at £3.50 and attendance ending at any time between 4.30pm and 5.30pm is charged at £6.50. A family discount of 50p per child, per day is applied to families with more than one sibling where each child attends After School Club into the second session. Bookings are made in advance at www.schoolcomms.com and payment should be made at the time of booking, or by childcare vouchers in arrangement with the School Business Manager. Children are collected from their classrooms and upon arrival we provide them with a drink and snack. They then have the opportunity to simply relax and unwind under the supervision of our qualified play leaders or, if they wish, to take part in the many activities on offer including painting, craft, drawing, badminton, forest school adventures and football. When the weather allows we like to encourage the children to make the most of our fabulous site and play outdoors. If you would like your child to attend it is essential that you complete an application form and book them in at www.schoolcomms.com. Mrs Mungall or Mrs Gibson in the school office will be happy to assist if required.
